““We at the American Parkinson’s Disease Association have had the distinct privilege of working with Dr. Martha Brown on our Boca Ballet Parkinson’s Dance program, better known as BBT4PD. For a very long time, this organization has needed a survey which speaks about the impact of dance on those with Parkinson’s disease. Dr. Brown developed survey that gathered both qualitative and quantitative data about our participants. The survey results allowed our organization to capture the attention of prospective funders and corporate partners. For us, this is an invaluable report! The findings of the survey supported our hypothesis that dance and its effects on motor functions and the quality of life are metrics which are tangible.
